Late Friday evening I arrived to Sevilla. Some very kind travelers greeted me at the hostel rooftop where we shared drinks together.
Saturday
After a bit of sightseeing on Saturday morning, I biked through the city with a new friend who also happens to be from Alexandria! We quickly began to realize that Sevilla is very small and most things are only 10 minutes apart.

We stopped for tapas and sangria at a restaurant where we sat next to some very cute dogs:

In the above picture you can see them setting up for a concert. It was an easy decision to go to the concert that night. It turned out to be a pride celebration and it was an incredible time, with sing alongs from drag queens and people stayed out until the early morning.

Sunday
For my last full day in Sevilla I happened upon a street fair full of beautiful art.

My next stop was María Luisa park, where I sat with my book and some pastries and enjoyed the well landscaped plants and historic spaces.

My late lunch consisted of wine and ensalada de gambas!

Though I did not walk through the Royal Palace of Alcázar, I instead visited the Palace of Las Dueñas, which held inside quiet and ornate courtyards and lots of old feria posters and other artwork.

The day ended with happy hour on our hostel rooftop and a small flamenco concert from a local band:

I also somehow fit in a yoga class on Monday morning which was so calming. It was a nice sendoff for my next stop - Lagos, Portugal!
¡Hasta pronto! - Ellie
